Bridgeland stability conditions

A collaborative seminar organized across the universities of Bologna, Chemnitz, and Nancy, working from the foundations of derived categories toward projectivity and birational geometry of moduli spaces.

About the seminar

Bridgeland stability conditions form a far-reaching framework for studying moduli spaces and birational geometry. The seminar began with a self-contained introduction to triangulated and derived categories, then developed the language of stability, walls and chambers, moduli spaces, and the positivity lemma.

Our final objective was to reach Theorem 1.3 of Bayer and Macrì’s Projectivity and Birational Geometry of Bridgeland moduli spaces.

Videos of the talks are hosted on YouTube with private visibility. If you are interested in watching them, please contact one of the organizers to request access.
